Deer hunting seasons and bag limits at all military bases, National Wildlife Refuges, and units of the National Park System shall conform to Statewide seasons and bag limits. However, the commanding officer of the base, manager of the National Wildlife Refuge, or superintendent of the National Park unit may submit a written request for an extension of the season, or to increase the bag limit, to the Director by August 1, annually. The Director shall review the request and advise the commanding officer of the base, manager of the National Wildlife Refuge, or superintendent of the National Park unit, of the Director's decision, in writing, within 30 days of the receipt of the formal request.
