Section 498-23-2 - Eligible Uses

Eligible uses of the Communities for Maine's Future Program (the Fund) are set forth in this section. Activities must be expended in an eligible downtown or village center and may include but are not limited to: acquisition, demolition, site work, design, construction, and rehabilitation in support of the following project types:

1. Rehabilitation to buildings located in designated downtown and village center areas;

2. Streetscapes;

3. Creation of walking trails and other recreational amenities;

4. Development of facilities in support of the arts and culture, local agriculture and crafts relating to furthering the Creative Economy.
