A copy of the Certificate of (Compliance issued to a customer by the installer of after-market window tinting material must be kept on file at the installer's place of business for a period of three years. Those records shall be made available to any full-time law enforcement officer for inspection during normal business hours. Should an installer of after-market window tinting material go out of business, all copies of the certificates of compliance shall be forwarded to the State Police Traffic Division, 242 State Street, Augusta, Maine 04333.
