Subsection 222-1-140-25 - SCHOOL BUS INSPECTION STICKERS AND FORMS1. All school buses must be inspected twice annually. The expiration date shall be the last day of the month six months after the issuance of the sticker. The Inspection Technician shall remove the block indicating the following six-month expiration. NOTE: For example, stickers issued during February shall have block 8 removed and expire the last day in August. Stickers issued during August shall have block 2 removed and expire the last day in February.
2. An Inspection Technician who inspects a school bus and issues an inspection sticker shall complete and furnish a minimum of two copies of the "Report of School Bus Inspection" form. The "Report of School Bus Inspection" shall be kept inside the bus and shall be available at the time of subsequent inspection by the Maine State Police.
