Section 144-220-E-D-14 - Conducting industrial radiographic operationsA. Whenever radiography is performed at a location other than a permanent radiographic installation, the qualified radiographer must be accompanied by at least one other qualified radiographer or qualified radiographer assistant. This additional qualified individual shall observe the operations and be capable of providing immediate assistance to prevent unauthorized entry. Radiography may not be performed if only one qualified individual is present.B. All radiographic operations conducted at locations of use authorized on the license must be conducted in a permanent radiographic installation, unless specifically authorized by the Agency.C. A licensee may conduct lay-barge, offshore platform, or underwater radiography only if procedures have been approved by the Agency.D. Whenever radiography is performed at a location other than a permanent radiographic installation, the radiographer must notify the requesting person's radiation safety officer or the person responsible for safety matters for those that do not have a radiation safety officer, before taking any licensed material onto the location.10-144 C.M.R. ch. 220, § E-D-14
