This Chapter is authorized and adopted under 38 M.R.S. §1319- O(1) and is intended to be consistent with applicable requirements of The Solid Waste Disposal Act, as amended by the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act of 1976 (RCRA), as amended, 42 U.S.C. §6901 through 6992(k) and regulations promulgated by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) thereunder.
