Section 041-11-1 - Adoption of CodesThe Board adopts, and incorporates in this Chapter, the standards of the following national codes to govern construction, installation, inspection, operation, and alteration and repair of boilers and pressure vessels:
A. ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (2004 Edition), with the exception of Sections III and XI;B. ASME Pressure Piping Code B31.1 (2004 Edition);C. National Board Inspection Code, ANSI/NB-23 (2001 Edition, 2001, 2002, 2003 addendum);D. ASME Controls and Safety Devices for Automatically Fired Boilers (CSD-1) (2002 Edition), with the exception of Part CF; and E. TAPPI, Technical Information Paper 0402-16, 2001 revision, Guidelines for inspection and nondestructive examination of paper machine dryers. NOTE: Part CF, "Combustion Side Controls," is an adopted standard of the Oil and Solid Fuel Board and the Propane and Natural Gas Board.
