Section 017-7-59 - Coupled Entries ViolationsCoupled entry is as defined in 01-017 C.M.R. ch. 1.
1. If any of the violations in this chapter are committed by a person driving a horse coupled as an entry in the betting, the Judges shall set both horses back, if in their opinion, the violation may have affected the finish of the race. Otherwise, penalties may be applied individually to the drivers of any entry.2. If a horse coupled as an entry in the betting, because of the same ownership or the same trainer, is disqualified for a foul under these rules, the Judges may set back all horses coupled in said entry or may set back only the horse or horses involved in the foul.01-017 C.M.R. ch. 7, § 59
