Section VII-311 - Definition of Menhaden and Herring-Like SpeciesA. The Wildlife and Fisheries Commission does hereby adopt the attached rules and regulations as pertaining to the definition of menhaden and herring-like species.B. The term menhaden and herring-like species shall be those species contained within the family Clupeidae, as recognized and published in: "A List of Common and Scientific Names of Fishes from the United States and Canada;" The American Fisheries Society.
