Section III-135 - Measurements for SpacingA. Distance from the edge of the right-of-way to a subject sign for control purposes is measured horizontally along a line perpendicular to the centerline of the said highway.B. Centerline of the highway means a line of equal distance from the edges of the median separating the main traveled ways of a divided highway or the centerline of the main traveled way of a non-divided highway.C. The minimum distance between structures shall be measured horizontally along a line perpendicular to the edge of the main traveled way between points directly opposite the center of the sign along each side of the highway and shall apply only to structures located on the same side of the highway.D. For continuous ramps which start at one entrance and end at the next exit, the allowable spacing shall be measured from the intersection of the edge of the mainline shoulder and the edge of the ramp shoulder; or in the case of bridges, the measurement would be taken where the mainline and the ramp bridge rails meet. This provision shall apply to §134. B.1 and §134. C 1La. Admin. Code tit. 70, § III-135
