Section XXI-107 - Intrastate Manufacture, Sale or Distribution of Animal Vaccines (Formerly Section 123)A. No person, firm, association or corporation shall manufacture, sell or distribute any animal vaccine within the state of Louisiana unless such person, firm, association or corporation can prove to the board that he is currently the holder of a valid federal license to manufacture, sell or distribute such animal vaccine, except as provided hereinafter.B. The board shall authorize the intrastate manufacture, sale or distribution of animal vaccines on an individual basis to meet emergency situations within the state of Louisiana under special permit of the state veterinarian, provided that no special permit for the intrastate manufacture, sale or distribution of animal vaccines shall be issued by the state veterinarian except under the authorization of the board.C. The board reserves the right to prohibit the intrastate manufacture, sale or distribution of animal vaccines which, in the judgment of the board, would be detrimental to any phase of the livestock and/or animal health industries of the state.D. The board shall distribute, through the state veterinarian, on an annual basis, no later than December 31 of each year, a complete list of all vaccines which are prohibited for use within Louisiana, and such list shall be available to any interested person who makes request therefor.La.
