Section V-1303 - Time Limits on Acceptance of ReportsA. Reports will not be accepted when the time period from the alleged abuse or neglect occurrence to the date of the report exceeds the following limits. 1. Physical Abuse: a. severe abuse (i.e., high priority) 12 months;b. less severe (i.e., medium-low priority) three months unless documentation of the injury such as scars or medical records, continues to be available.2. Neglect. One month unless the report includes several incidents which would indicate a continuing pattern of neglect.3. Sexual Abuse. No time limit if the alleged victim remains a minor to whom the alleged perpetrator continues to have access. Reports over 12 months post-occurrence will not be accepted if the perpetrator no longer has access.B. Reports in which the victim is no longer a minor will not be accepted regardless of time elapsed.La. Admin. Code tit. 67, § V-1303
