Section III-2701 - Blood TestsA. Effective August 1992, if paternity is established and paternity blood tests were performed, the Department of Social Services, Office of Family Support, Support Enforcement Services, must attempt to obtain a judgment of the costs of the blood tests from the party who denied paternity, as long as the amount requested does not exceed the actual costs of the blood tests.La.
