Section III-2518 - Electronic Distribution of Child Support PaymentsA.1. Effective April 1, 2006, electronic disbursement of child support payments shall be mandatory except in the following situations: a. payments are forwarded to private collection agencies;b. physical or other disabilities impose a hardship to receive payments via electronic disbursement;c. the custodial parent is receiving FITAP benefits;d. payments are forwarded to the non-custodial parent;e. payments received are in excess of FITAP benefits; andf. any other exceptions as shall be determined by Support Enforcement Services to be necessary for effective program operations.2. Electronic disbursement of child support includes direct deposits to the custodial parent's bank account (checking or savings) or payments to a stored value card account.B. A stored value card is a card-accessed account system where payments are electronically deposited into an account accessible for cash withdrawal or for credit purchases.C. The fees associated with the use of the stored value card are subject to the conditions of that financial institution.La. Admin. Code tit. 67, § III-2518
