Section III-1967 - Setting the Standard Utility Allowance and the Basic Utility AllowanceA. Effective October 1, 1985, and each October 1 thereafter, the annualized standard utility allowance in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program shall be adjusted to reflect changes in the cost of utilities.B. The department will conduct an annual statewide survey of utility companies to determine the average monthly cost of utilities. This methodology is subject to approval by the United States Department of Agriculture Food and Nutrition Service. The standard allowance developed shall also be submitted to USDA FNS for approval.La. Admin. Code tit. 67, § III-1967
