Section XIX-501 - Suspension of BenefitsA. As provided in R.S. 11:1444(D), if a member has commenced to receive distributions under R.S. 11:1444 even though he is still employed with the employer, then such member shall b e given the opportunity to elect to suspend such distributions so long as he is still employed. If such member later terminates employment, he shall commence to receive minimum distributions again and shall be entitled to elect the method of receiving such distributions, with his required beginning date to be determined based on the date of his termination of employment.La.
