Section I-701 - AuthorizationA. As announced in the October 1985 issue of the Louisiana Register, the rules and regulations, stated herein, were prepared by the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, Office of Public Works, in accordance with R.S. 38:3094(7)(A). Effective January 1, 2010, in accordance with Act 437 of 2009, The Department of Natural Resources, Office of Conservation, hereafter referred to as "department," is responsible for registering water wells and holes in Louisiana.La.
