Section XV-903 - [Effective until 10/29/2024] Board Approval of ApplicationsA. Decisions of the board are final, as per R.S. 40:1667.6. However, the employee has the right to appeal a board decision. The department will mail a letter of denial to the applicant within 10 business days after the board's decision. Written notice of intent to appeal the board's decision shall be submitted to the department no later than 30 days after receipt of the denial letter from the department. The appeal shall be included on the next regular meeting agenda. The board also decides back pay cases on an individual basis.La. Admin. Code tit. 55, § XV-903
