Section V-547 - Course Curriculum Requirements for Education Provider TrainingA. The course curriculum shall be submitted to the fire marshal for approval and shall include a detailed description of course content and materials.B. The course curriculum for manufactured house installers and transporters shall, at a minimum, include the following area of training: 1. definitions, as provided in the "Louisiana Minimum Standards for Installation of Manufactured and Modular Homes and Transportation Requirements- law;2. license and registration requirements;3. permits and penalties;4. installer qualification;5. location of manufactured homes;7. structural connections;9. electrical connections;10. plumbing connections;11. mechanical connections;12. fuel gas piping connections;13. fire protection and separation;14. underfloor enclosures, access, and ventilation;15. alternate manufactured housing uses;16. accessory buildings and structures;17. alterations, repairs, and additions.C. Within 30 days of notification of any change in course curriculum requirements adopted by the fire marshal, the provider shall submit a revised curriculum to the fire marshal for approval.D. The provider shall notify the fire marshal, in writing, seven days prior to each class, indicating the time, date, and location of the class.
