A. Any person who engages in the business of installing manufactured homes, who directs, supervises, or controls installations or performs repairs to an existing installation shall have an appropriate, valid Louisiana manufactured housing installer's license issued by the Office of the State Fire Marshal.B. Persons who have had a license issued by this office revoked may not apply for approval as an installer within one year of the date of revocation.C. An installer license shall be granted only to a person who bears a good reputation for honesty, trustworthiness, integrity, and competence to transact business in such a manner as to safeguard the interest of the public and only after satisfactory proof of such qualifications has been presented to the commission. If an applicant for a license is a partnership or a corporation, the qualifications of each member of the partnership or officer of the corporation may be considered by the commission in issuing or refusing to issue a license.D. An applicant's license may be granted administratively if all requirements are met and there are no felony arrests on the applicant's criminal background.La. Admin. Code tit. 55, § V-523
