Section V-2567 - Temporary WiringA. If temporary wiring is used it shall be in compliance with the applicable section of the National Electrical Code, NFPA 70 (2014 edition).B. Temporary electrical power and lighting installations shall be permitted during the period of construction and remodeling of buildings, structures, equipment or similar activities.C. Temporary electrical power and lighting installations shall be permitted for a period not to exceed 90 days.D. All lamps for general illumination shall be protected from accidental contact or breakage. Protection shall be provided by elevation of at least 7 feet from normal working surface or by a suitable fixture or lamp holder with a guard.La. Admin. Code tit. 55, § V-2567
