Section I-101 - Charging and Collecting of Fee for Processing of Finger Print CardsA. Pursuant to the provisions of R.S. 15:587, as amended, the Bureau of Criminal Identification and Information (Criminal Records Unit), announces it will begin collecting a $26 processing fee to offset the costs of conducting a criminal record search for the purpose of screening applicants for employment or license.B. This fee will not be charged to law enforcement agencies conducting criminal investigations, applicants for full-time employment with a bona fide criminal justice agency, or to applicants for employment at race tracks. C. Payments of the processing fee shall be made in the form of a cashier's check or money order payable to the Louisiana Bureau of Criminal Identification and Information Fund and payment shall accompany the request for such information.D. Collection of the processing fee shall begin on February 20, 1986 and shall be applied to all requests received on and after that date.La. Admin. Code tit. 55, § I-101
