Section XXIV-301 - Materials of Constructions [formerly paragraph 24:004]A. Swimming pools and all appurtenances thereto shall be constructed of materials which are non-toxic to man and the environment; which are impervious and enduring; which can withstand the design stresses; and which will provide a watertight structure with a smooth and easily cleaned surface without cracks or joints, excluding structural joints, or to which a smooth, easily cleaned surface finish is applied or attached.B. The floor of all pools shall be white, light colored, or light colored patterns in order to facilitate the identification of any objects within the pool. The color, patterns, or finishes of the pool interior shall not be such as to obscure the existence or presence of objects or surfaces within the pool.La. Admin. Code tit. 51, § XXIV-301
