Section XII-259 - Sanitary WasteA. The sanitary waste from water treatment plants, pumping stations, and other waterworks installations shall receive treatment.B. Waste from these facilities shall be discharged directly to a sanitary sewer system, when available and feasible, or to an adequate on-site waste treatment facility approved by the state health officer.C. The appropriate federal, state, and local officials should be notified when designing treatment facilities to ensure that the local sanitary sewer system can accept the anticipated wastes.La. Admin.
