Section XI-103 - ServicesA. Voice evaluation or voice therapy coverage is excluded from the Title XIX Medical Assistance Program. This includes instructions in use and hygiene of the voice as treatment for vocal cord nodules or hoarseness, and related conditions, unless it is serious enough to interfere with normal speech.B. Effective for dates of service on or after February 1, 2013, the department terminates the coverage of all rehabilitation services to recipients 21 years of age and older.La. Admin.
