Section I-9087 - Notification of Evacuation, Relocation, or Temporary Cessation of OperationsA. Emergency preparedness procedures shall specify the following: 1. persons to be notified;2. process of notification;3. verification of notification;4. locations of emergency equipment and alarm signals;6. procedures for evacuating residents;7. procedures for re-entry and recovery;8. frequency of fire drills;9. tasks and responsibilities assigned to all personnel; and10. medications and records to be taken from the facility upon evacuation and to be returned following the emergency.B. A PRTF shall immediately notify the department and other appropriate agencies of any fire, disaster or other emergency that may present a danger to residents or require their evacuation from the facility.C. In the event that a PRTF evacuates, temporarily relocates or temporarily ceases operations at its licensed location as a result of an evacuation order issued by the state, local or parish OHSEP, the PRTF shall immediately give notice to the Health Standards Section, the Office of Behavioral Health (OBH), and OHSEP by facsimile or email of the following: 1. the date and approximate time of the evacuation; and2. the locations of where the residents have been placed, whether this location is a host site for one or more of the PRTF residents.D.In the event that a PRTF evacuates, temporarily relocates or temporarily ceases operations at its licensed location for any reason other than an evacuation order, the PRTF shall immediately give notice to the Health Standards Section by facsimile or email of the following: 1. the date and approximate time of the evacuation; and2. the locations of where the residents have been placed, whether this location is a host site for one or more of the PRTF residents.E. If there are any deviations or changes made to the locations of the residents that were given to the Health Standards Section, OBH and OHSEP, then Health Standards, OBH, and OHSEP shall be notified of the changes within 48 hours of their occurrence.La.
