Section I-4737 - OrientationA. A provider's orientation program shall provide at least 16 hours of training for all direct care staff within 30 working days of the date of employment. Orientation training shall include instruction in safety and emergency procedures and in the specific responsibilities of the employee's job.B. New employees shall be accompanied by experienced staff at all times and shall not be given the sole responsibility for supervising clients until orientation training is completed.La. Admin.
