Section XI-4101 - Rape Crisis Centers

A. Each state owned and operated hospital in the state shall establish, operate, and maintain a rape crisis center, such centers to be operated and administered from such funds as are provided for the operation and administration of the applicable hospitals.

B. Each rape crisis center shall have a rape counselor who shall be designated to be on call at all times to see to the needs of rape victims.

C. There shall be assigned to each rape crisis center a sufficient number of registered staff nurses to assure that a nurse is designated to be on call at all times for the rape center.

D. A physician on the staff of each hospital shall be designated to be on call to the rape crisis center.
