Section VII-301 - Composition of CommissionA. The commission shall be composed of 13 members who are appointed by the governor and confirmed by the senate. Members serve at the pleasure of the governor until their respective successor has been appointed and commissioned. One member shall be elected chairman and other officers elected as deemed necessary. The assistant secretary of the Office of Prevention and Recovery from Alcohol and Drug Abuse serves as executive director of the commission. The executive director shall be an ex-officio member of the commission, but shall not have voting privileges.La. Admin. Code tit. 48, § VII-301
