Section V-8901 - IntroductionA. The Department of Health and Human Resources, Office of Preventive and Public Health Services has adopted policies and procedures used in the operation of the Northwest Louisiana Adolescent Family Life Project in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act, R. S. 49:950, et. seq.. These policies and procedures specifically cover the charging of fees to service recipients as mandated by federal regulations as published in the Federal Register, Vol. 47, No. 40, Monday, March 1, 1982, page 8682.B. In accordance with Title XX of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 300z-2) administered through the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Adolescent Pregnancy Programs, all individuals served by the Adolescent Family Life Project must be charged a fee. Charges are to be made to persons according to a sliding fee schedule based on ability to pay, which is generally determined by income.
