Section XXXIII-512 - SanctionsA. Any dental assistant or expanded duty dental assistant who administers nitrous oxide inhalation anesthesia is subject to severe sanctions for practicing dentistry without a license. The dentist under whose instructions he or she performed the procedure will be subject to severe sanctions up to and including revocation of his or her dental license.La. Admin.
