Section XLVII-3617 - Effect of ViolationA. Any violation of or failure of compliance with the prohibitions and provision of §3613 of this Chapter shall be deemed grounds for disciplinary proceedings against a registered nurse, R.S. 37:921, providing cause for the board to deny, revoke, suspend or otherwise discipline the license of said registered nurse.B. Administrative Sanctions. In addition to the above, anyone who violates any provisions of this Part may be brought before the board and fined not more than $5,000 for each count or separate offense plus administrative costs.La.
