Section XLV-1965 - Continuing Professional Education RequirementA. Subject to the exceptions specified in §1979 of this Subchapter, to be eligible for renewal of licensure an occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant shall, within each year during which he or she holds licensure, evidence, and document in a manner prescribed by the board, the successful completion of not less than 12 contact hours, or 1.2 continuing education units (CEUs).B. One CEU constitutes 10 hours of participation in an organized continuing professional education program approved by the board and meeting the standards prescribed in this Subchapter; one continuing professional education hour is equal to one-tenth of a CEU. Twelve hours, or 1.2 CEUs, is required to meet the standards prescribed by this Subchapter.La. Admin. Code tit. 46, § XLV-1965
