Section LXX-12115 - Computation of TimeA. Computing Time. In computing any period of time prescribed or allowed by these rules, by order of the Commission, Hearing Panel or Hearing Master, or by any applicable statute, the day on which the designated period of time begins to run shall not be included. Furthermore, a designated time period shall not be deemed to expire on a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday, but rather shall expire on the next day which is not a Saturday, Sunday nor a legal holiday.B. Extensions. Unless otherwise provided, the time for filing any pleading, may, but shall not necessarily, be extended by order of the Chairman, Hearing Panel or Hearing Master, upon written motion duly filed with the Administrator prior to the expiration of the applicable period of time for the filing of the same, showing that there is good cause for such extension of time and that the need therefore is not caused by the neglect, indifference or lack of diligence of the party making such motion.La.
