Section LXVI-903 - General ProvisionsA. Except as hereinafter provided, no person other than a licensed practitioner or the holder of a license as defined in R.S. 37:3200 et seq., shall use radioactive materials or equipment emitting or detecting ionizing radiations on humans for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes.B. The board shall issue a license pursuant to these rules and regulations provided the applicant for a specific license has met all the requirements as prescribed in R.S. 37:3208.C. The license of a radiologic technologist may be suspended for a fixed period or may be revoked, or the holder of such a license may be reprimanded or otherwise disciplined in accordance with the provisions and procedures defined in R.S. 37:19.La.
