Section LIII-2709 - Actions on ApplicationsA. Upon receipt of a properly completed application and appropriate fees from a qualified applicant, the board shall issue a Louisiana CDS license to the applicant, unless the board intends to deny the application.B. The board may deny an application for the issuance or renewal of a CDS license for cause. For purposes of this Section, the term "for cause" includes surrender in lieu of, or as a consequence of, any federal or state administrative, civil or criminal action resulting from an investigation of the individual's handling of controlled substances.La.
