Section III-105 - Election and Term of OfficeA. The chairman and vice-chairman shall hold office as board members so long as they hold their respective positions as elective officers of the board. Each appointed member shall serve at the pleasure of the governor for a term concurrent to the term of office of the governor appointing him except that each member shall serve until his successor has been appointed and begins serving. Each appointment by the governor shall be submitted to the Senate for confirmation. In the event of the death, resignation, or disability of a member of the board, the governor shall fill the vacancy by appointing a qualified person for the remainder of the unexpired term.La. Admin.
