Section XXVII-1521 - Final Base Map ProductionA. Final hard-copy maps shall be plotted on double-matted 4 mil mylar with black liquid ink via an accurate CADD Mapping System and shall correspond to the requirements set forth within these standards. An index of all maps developed showing the parish boundary, map boundaries and map numbers shall be produced on double-matted four mil mylar.B. Digital data shall be provided on acceptable MS-DOS formatted computer transfer media in DXF file format. Each planimetric or topographic feature, as identified by a unique feature code, shall be on a separate component layer or assigned to the feature element levels indicated within Chapter 19 for viewing and plotting purposes.C. Map data shall be stored on an acceptable digital format at the mapping consultant's facility until the responsible contracting authority and/or other responsible participants or users select and install their respective geographic information systems. Final map data must be compatible with the geographic information system in use or to be selected by the responsible contracting authority and/or other responsible participants and users.La. Admin.
