A. This Regulation prescribes policies and procedures pertaining to the administration of military justice within the Louisiana National Guard and implements the Louisiana Code of Military Justice (LCMJ). Its format is designed to be of practical assistance to the commander in his effort to be effective and fair in matters relating to military law. Although even the most routine legal situation may seem confusing initially, the solution will generally prove to be relatively simple. This Regulation presents practical advice about many aspects of military justice and is designed to equip all concerned with the resources necessary to make swift, fair, and effective decisions.La.
