Section V-1505 - State Issued Travel Credit Cards/CBA AccountsA. Use. All high cost expenditures (airfare, lodging, vehicle rentals, and registration) must be placed on the LaCarte Purchasing Card, Travel Card or agency CBA programs unless prior approval is granted from the Commissioner of Administration. The State Travel Office contracts for an official state corporate travel card to form one source of payment for travel. If a supervisor recommends an employee be issued a state travel card, the employee should complete an application through their agency travel program administrator. The employee's corporate travel card is for official state travel business purposes only. Personal use on the state travel card shall result in disciplinary action.B. Liability 1. The corporate travel card is the liability of the state. Each monthly statement balance is due in full to the card-issuing bank. The state will have no tolerance to assist those employees who abuse their travel card privileges.2.
