Section XIII-6203 - Applicability and ScopeA. This regulation applies to all utilization review organizations, independent review organizations, health insurance issuers and health maintenance organizations that are doing business and acting as a utilization review organization or independent review organization in the state of Louisiana or who are seeking to do business as a utilization review organization or independent review organization in the state of Louisiana, as well as to health insurance issuers when they are a party to an external review request.La.
