Section III-707 - Determination of Rates; Notice of RatesA. The board shall determine surcharge rates in a public meeting held pursuant to Louisiana's open meetings laws based upon actuarial principles and reports, experience and prudent judgment of the board. The board shall provide written or electronic notice of the meeting at least 15 days in advance of the meeting and provide an opportunity for public comment at the meeting before determining surcharge rates.B. Within 30 days of the date on which the board determines surcharges rates or rate changes, the executive director shall give notice of such rates or rate changes via the board's website and any other means at the discretion of the executive director.La.
