Section III-5739 - Telephones and Telegraphs PermittedA. Associations may allow telephones on their respective grounds for the transaction of ordinary association business. Associations may also allow telegraph wires on their respective grounds during their race meeting for the benefit of the public press, but no information regarding the result of any race shall be transmitted out of the race track until the results are official, nor shall any message transmitting money, or other things of value, or directing the placing of any wager on the result of a race be sent over the wires. Nor shall any message be sent in cipher code or any form other than in plain and intelligible English, under penalty of forfeiture of license.La. Admin. Code tit. 35, § III-5739
