Section I-1319 - Sterile EquipmentA. Sterile equipment must be used for collecting material for saliva, blood and urine tests. All types of instruments used on horses, including surgical, tattooing, dental and similar items, must be properly cleaned and sterilized by boiling for 15 minutes, or autoclaving 15 minutes at 15 pounds pressure before use on any animal.La.
