Section III-513 - Emergency ProcurementA. The Office of Facility Planning and Control, Real Estate Leasing Section, may make emergency procurements for acquisition of housing space of 5,000 square feet or more when there exists an imminent threat to the public health, welfare, safety or public property.B. The declaration of an emergency must be made in writing by the Chief Procurement Officer or his designee, fully documenting the nature of the emergency, the circumstances leading up to the emergency and a description of the threat to public health, welfare, safety or public property.La.
