Section XI-901 - Applicability to Previously Closed UST SystemsA. The owner and operator of a UST system permanently closed before July 20, 1990, shall assess the excavation zone and close the UST system in accordance with this Chapter if directed to do so by the department. The department shall direct that such closure be undertaken if releases from the UST may, in the judgment of the department, pose a current or potential threat to human health and the environment.La.
