Section V-3801 - Scope and ApplicabilityA. This Chapter establishes requirements for managing batteries as described in LAC 33:V.3803, pesticides as described in LAC 33:V.3805, mercury-containing equipment as described in LAC 33:V.3807, lamps as described in LAC 33:V.3809, electronics as described in LAC 33:V.3810, and antifreeze as described in LAC 33:V.3811. This Chapter provides an alternative set of management standards in lieu of regulations under LAC 33:V.Subpart 1.B. Persons managing household wastes that are exempt under LAC 33:V.105.D.2.a and are also of the same type as the universal wastes as defined in this Chapter may, at their option, manage these wastes under the requirements of this Chapter.C. Very small quantity generator wastes that are regulated under LAC 33:V.1009 and are also of the same type as the universal wastes defined in LAC 33:V.3813 may, at the generator's option, manage these wastes under the requirements of this Chapter.D. Persons who commingle the wastes described in Subsections B and C of this Section, together with universal waste regulated under this Chapter, must manage the commingled waste under the requirements of this Chapter.La.
