Section V-1525 - Emergency ResponseA. Purpose. To provide for control and clean-up of accidental spills and other emergency situations involving hazardous wastes resulting from a violation of a requirement of these regulations or the Act.B. Program. The department, working with the Department of Public Safety, will establish the following program: 1. emergency response equipment and teams located in strategic locations;2. emergency response plan involving a communication system, cooperation with local police and fire departments, training program based, as a minimum, on the "emergency information card," and an operations plan for each class of emergency situation; and3. the Emergency Response Program will respond to all in-transit accidents and spills, and respond to on-site emergencies when called by the operator or in accordance with provisions of LAC 33:V.1513.F.La.
