Section V-1317 - Discharge CleanupA. A transporter must clean up any hazardous waste discharge that occurs during transportation and take such action as may be required by the administrative authority so that the hazardous waste discharge no longer presents a hazard to human health or the environment. The transporter becomes the generator of the waste for the purpose of cleanup, unless such responsibility is transferred to the owner of the material, or other responsible parties.La. Admin.
