Section LIX-301 - Centers for Disease Control and Prevention RecommendationA. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends teaching health education as a self-contained class with infused classes serving as an adjunct to, instead of substituting for, health education classes. Infused classes are defined as courses that include some health education content, but primarily focus on another subject. The CDC recommends teaching health as an academic class where the lessons are taught sequentially, are behaviorally focused, and promote positive messages.La. Admin. Code tit. 28, § LIX-301
